Inspired by tea that I enjoyed at a Middle Eastern restaurant. It is a work in progress…

Ingredients

  • 98g black tea (whole leaf)
  • 0.7g ginger (powder)
  • 0.77g black peppercorns (whole)
  • 0.17g cloves

Spices weighed out.
Spices before grinding.
Spices after partial grinding.
Spice after grinding.
Spices combined. Mix with a whisk.

Preparation

Use approximately 10g per 500ml. Steep for 5 minutes.

Untested Ideas

  • Using only clove buds. No stem.
  • Add lemongrass.
